Sangamithra Old Age Home & Orphanage in Chittor District, AP: This facility isn’t in need of furniture or similar items but is in desperate need of food supplies. As part of our mayoral activities, we’re arranging for ₹10,000 worth of essential food items to support them. Rajesh will post an update with pictures and necessary receipts post the activity is complete.
CSI High School - Kanchipuram: A government-aided institution that I personally attended. Despite its educational support from the government, the school has lacked basic furniture like chairs and benches for two decades. We’re planning to provide plastic chairs and wooden tables to fully equip at least one classroom, with a budget of ₹20,000. Thankfully, our supplier has agreed to offer us the tables at half the retail price. I will post pictures and receipt (if any) once the custom tables are manufactured by the supplier.
Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Collaboration: We’re teaming up with the VVA to collect gently used clothes, toys, household items, books, and electronics. If you’re willing to contribute, please let me know so I can organize pick-up arrangements. Our goal is to collect all donations by March 20th.
